i've been to three games at fedex field and the fans have always been pretty loud but this will be my first game this year with coach gibbs running the show. i've been hearing that the fans are the loudest that they've ever been, is this true? i can't wait. GO SKINS :thumb:

Im so mad I wont get to go to any games this year. This is the first time ive missed an entire season at the new stadium. It never was loud before but with the added seats, and more importantly the seats being filled with skins fans now, ive heard its really loud.

It was loud yesterday all right during the booing of Brunell and the welcoming cheer for Ramsey. But it was not so loud when the Skins made their comeback in the 4th quarter because at least 30% of the crowd was gone by the end of the 3rd quarter. (Maybe it was 40%?)
I thought it was only in LA (Dodgers and Lakers) where it was traditional for everyone to arrive late and leave early. Apparently, that is becoming de rigeur in Washington too.
Announced attendance was 87,876 but there were alot of empty seats. Very quiet crowd except for the boos for Brunnel and the cheers for Ramsey when he first entered. What was interesting to note when the game was thought to be out of reach, appox. the beginning of the 4th quarter the stadium had the adudasity to post that clever sign that says "Quiet, Offense at Work" We had a good laugh on that one. The play of the skins has taken the home field advantage away. Compare to the Bucs or the Cowboys game and you can hear the players call the plays in the huddle, shame.
