You know I always had this feeling that Petitbon really didn't want to be the head coach, that Gibbs had anointed him as successor. And out of respect he said sure, but I just got this feeling as the season was going on that it wasn't something he really wanted
Very well could be.

I always thought it was kinda strange Petitbon didn't take another job somewhere else. It's hard to believe nobody would have been interested in hiring him as their defensive coordinator considering his track record.

Maybe he just had enough of coaching in general.

A defensive coordinator that will last more than a year? Now that is a new concept. Cant imagine what the D will look like next year. Now if only the O will do something.

On that note, I remember reading an article in the preseason from Lavar. He was asked about the D, and how much fun it was going to be. When asked about the O, he said he felt bad for those guys, because they have SO MUCH to absorb. The O will come in time, just like Gibbs first go around. The D will get better. It will be scary, and I'm pretty damn excited about the prospect of continuity. Bradshaw will be eating his words again.

That's music to my ears! Williams is our M.V.P so far this season. Glad to hear he will be around for a while.

Yeah, thank God Gibb's got Williams to join the band. With all the talk about Brunnel, we all have to agree that Gibb's hit a home run on that one!
