didn't Kerry Collins do something similar when he was with Carolina? He went and told Capers that he didn't have it in him to be the starter, then he was cut a couple of days later. Of course, his alcoholism could have been a factor

I like that he's confident, and I hope we see some results soon enough. He's performed well in the past, there does seem to be some kind of disconnect going on. I definitely don't think he's all of a sudden washed up, hopefully this is just an 8 game blip. Well 7 game, he did hit the Cowpokes for 325 didn't he? How'd he do that?

Hmmm. Alcoholism you say. If anybody sees Brunell while you're out, buy that man a drink, and let em keep on coming. Great plan Smootsmack.

More like his racist comments about some of his teammates.

You know I vaguely recollect that incident. Could you give us more details on that SUNRA?

He has confidence? Take a good look at him, he's emotionally drained. He doesn't have that killer instinct anymore.

Even with Brunell's QB rating I still don't see him as the worst QB in the league. Turnovers and sacks are still a key point for me to rate him. Even at 5-3, Giants' fans are calling for Kurt Warner's head after the loss to the Lions. His QB rating is like in the top ten of the league. Sacks: 33, INTs: 5, fumbles: 7 Hmmmm. And Testerverde is old and in the top 5 for passing yardage. But Parcells is not having the turnovers. This to me seems to be what Coach Gibbs rejects the most from a QB. Stupid mistakes. If Ramsey comes in at any point of this season, I'm willing to bet he will be sacked more than Brunell and will throw the ball into double coverage. That's why he's not playing.

Some teammates of Collins overheard him making derogatory comments about certain sterotypical traits of black players and those teammates reported it to the front office. That's the jist of it.

I remember that. Kerry was sold out :cussing:
He had not choice but leave Carolina. Once your 'black listed' (and that was not racist joke on this certain topic we are discussing) Kerry had to leave & start over.

Kerry was great at Penn State, to bad he never dominated like that in the NFL.
