I'll save some of you the trouble of posting here with the following "Who cares about the Bills and Bears?! Why the hell are we talking about them on a Redskins message board!"

I know! The nerve! This is taking precious time from the constant mindless bashing of Moss and Haynesworth. [/sarcasm]

CRedskinsRule 05-21-2010, 09:16 AM So which is more interesting: the article, or the desire to respond sarcastically to the secondary comment?
Personally, I gotta say I am far more tempted to comment on the second part. but instead:
I aint got nothin' to say 'bout nothin' that ain't bout the Redskins,or politics, or super happy fun, or monsters, or ...

Schneed10 05-21-2010, 11:07 AM Ahem, as one of the dudes who ripped Rainy for linking to his blog about the Raiders, I feel the need to make a distinction here.
It makes sense for us to discuss other teams here on this board, especially as it pertains to news items affecting those teams. But we don't need bloggers from every end of the internet linking to their stories providing opinions on the playoff chances of other teams.
I think the general membership cares to discuss news items pertaining to other teams. Such as Cushing being suspended. But nobody cares to discuss a blogger's analysis of the Seahawks' playoff chances, for example.
redskins121684 05-21-2010, 01:04 PM Sayers is probably right, Chicago won't win the NFC North and I doubt they get a wild card spot. Urlacher is a shell of his former self, he's one of my favorite players but the past few seasons for him have been lackluster and last season was a bust with his wrist. It's wierd when old players from a team publicly criticize current players a la, Riggins ripping on Portis, Sayer/Butkus ripping on Urlacher and the Bears, I know it has a lot to do with what players now make moneywise compared to what they made then, Sayers career earnings was $275,000, the Bears don't have a player on their roster making less than that last season.
tryfuhl 05-21-2010, 01:07 PM Old time players were total G's.. dirty nasty, underpaid, tough sons of bitches.
That being said they don't work as hard, aren't scrutinized as much, nor had to worry about being called out for not being there in April.
