Most players and positions take a pounding on a weekly basis. Fans, coaches, owners, and teammates expect you to play through injuries. The average career is only 2-3 years. If you miss any significant amount of time youre considered washed up. Contracts arnt guaranteed. There is always someone trying to take your job. A minor injury can completely kill your career. If you are given the choice between using HGH to come back from injury (or containing a chronic injury) or working at UPS or a car dealership what would you do? I guess it’s a banned substance but maybe the rules should be modified so players can use hgh treatment for injuries. Also my money is on Kelly. We should have kept Marko.....
