for clarification: Springs will go to Dallas because, as always the media is loving on them, and he is from there, but I am NOT saying they will go, any more than the Patriots did last year.

Actually this is a Matt Williamson piece (from Scouts Inc), a very good one that takes a look at this situation from a football standpoint.

He grew up in the DMV area. Besides, if he goes there, that means T.O is coming here. (already burnt bridges in Philly and Dallas, and the Giants are content with what they have), and the guys at the top have passed on T.O for other vets.

Thats the problem. He seemed to be injured a lot or always playing injured which means he was not 100% or remotly close. His second issue is he thinks he's worth more then he truly is or what market thinks he should be.
I think if he eats a little humble pie and takes a pay cut, and takes a Safety position vs. CB position he might last a few more yrs. Problem is I think when he was with us he didn't like the idea of being a safety.
