So it's not ET, nor even iRobot, yet. But On-Star/GM may be integrating the Android OS to allow interoperability between your cell phone and car. So you while you won't be able to text while driving you may be able to drive by texting :)

That's right: The Android-OnStar setup, according to Motor Trend, would let you unlock your doors, start up your engine, and adjust other in-vehicle settings simply by tapping a few keys on your phone's screen.

so, could my phone call my car, send it's gps location, and guide the car to pick me up? Now that would be awesome.

Pretty cool, I love the melding of techy stuff and cars. Ford's SYNC system is pretty awesome.
