Rainy Parade 04-29-2010, 02:02 PM ha! classic. and yes Dez will be fixed too. NYCskinfan82 04-29-2010, 03:45 PM Very good read you have to take into account all the moves we did, (the BIG picture) Mel dosen't see it that way. kdogg3270 04-29-2010, 03:58 PM NICE find RP. Welcome to the WP! This is how ANY responsible....authority should take stock of the draft for every team. AND: It’s funny how the last year or so the talking-head experts were all saying that Campbell was “clearly not the answer” and that the Redskins are “in need of an upgrade at QB” and now they’re all praising Oakland for landing the same guy. well to oakland, campbell is an upgrade backrow 04-29-2010, 05:41 PM CBS had Selvish ranked top 12. And Jeremy Jarmon appears in neither the 2009 or 10 rankings. NFL Draft - 2010_OT Draft Prospects - CBSSports.com - NFLDraftScout.com (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospectrankings/TSX/2010_OT) Longtimefan 04-29-2010, 06:16 PM Was good to see the writer actually included McNabb, Jarmon and Carriker as a part of the draft class. Some post-draft evaluators chose (for whatever reasons) to omit the three as if they shouldn't be included. Longtimefan 04-29-2010, 06:36 PM So do you count Jarmon twice? Last year and this year? I would think he should be included in the 2010 draft class though he came to us prematurely in the supplemental draft. Technically, he was our third round pick in this years's draft. How do you characterize it Smoot, in your opinion should he be considered as this year's pick, or 2009? JLee9718 04-29-2010, 06:41 PM Didn't Oakland have a pretty good draft? We could've gotten Campbell, the offensive lineman out of Maryland, too. That would've made our draft even better. When the Redskins didn't select him, Oakland did with the following pick. SmootSmack 04-29-2010, 07:10 PM I would think he should be included in the 2010 draft class though he came to us prematurely in the supplemental draft. Technically, he was our third round pick in this years's draft. How do you characterize it Smoot, in your opinion should he be considered as this year's pick, or 2009? I don't know. I mean we technically drafted (albeit supplementarily) last year. So I think it would count for last year? But then you can also make the argument that it would count for this year too. I honestly don't know the answer Rainy Parade 04-29-2010, 08:50 PM well, this year's 3rd was surrendered for Jarmon (same for Mcnabb/2nd). so if the analysts downgrade us for not having picks they should acknowledge where they went. now, if we were still missing a 2010 from an old brandon lloyd pick, then shame on us. |
