After all this time, and all the pounding I take here, is it not obvious that I have thicker skin than that? No offense taken, not at all. No need to bring your sex life into it Jack. ;) CrustyRedskin 04-29-2010, 01:34 PM i thought we were done talking about your mom.... thanks, i just spit tea all over my work computer!!!!!!!!!! No biggie in the Galloway signing, way too many over reactions. celts32 04-29-2010, 02:36 PM Off the record, I think its a shame that a talented NFL receiver like Owens has let his personal ego get to the point where teams wont sign him because of it. If he wasn't such an ass he'd have any team in the NFL begging him to sign with them... TO is no longer the player that you are describing here. He started slowing down a couple years ago towards the end in Dallas. His production is no longer worth the risk of what he can bring into your locker room. I am not sure he will find any team to sign him. SmootSmack 04-29-2010, 02:38 PM TO is no longer the player that you are describing here. I am not sure he will find any team to sign him. He's still putting up some pretty damn good numbers Rainy Parade 04-29-2010, 02:44 PM i think TO is okay for a team (other than the redskins) if he will sign for the minimum, or a very small/reasonable incentive-laden contract. incentives for performance and team success but also for behavior. he was generally well-behaved in buffalo, as we all knew he would be on a 1-year deal, but unfortunately for him and his agent, that did not translate into an instant big-money contract. TO and Drew must realize by now that he must accept the terms i mentioned in the first paragraph. if he does that, he has the chance to possibly sign with a contender if one is willing to take him on. i would think a ring is more important than a payday, but i could be wrong. plus, his legacy/image etc would greatly improve if he won a ring (even if he joined the Colts/Pats/Saints/Vikes type team that was already good without him). and yes, improving his legacy would, in the long run, earn him a bit more money thru future endeavors. 44ever 04-29-2010, 02:56 PM He's still putting up some pretty damn good numbers Thank You! celts32 04-29-2010, 02:57 PM He's still putting up some pretty damn good numbers I don't know...55 receptions for 800+ yards. That's pretty good for a guy with no baggage I guess. But for me to put up with him and his media circus I want the 1200 yards and 15 TD's that he used to produce. MTK 04-29-2010, 03:00 PM Considering the QB situation in Buffalo last year those are very good numbers. In a good offense I think he's easily a 1000 yd guy again. 44ever 04-29-2010, 03:01 PM I don't know...55 receptions for 800+ yards. That's pretty good for a guy with no baggage I guess. But for me to put up with him and his media circus I want the 1200 yards and 15 TD's that he used to produce. He is still gaining over 15 yards per rec. Thats as good as he ever was. He's still the same TO. Just get him the ball. Terrell Owens: Career Stats (http://www.nfl.com/players/terrellowens/careerstats?id=OWE755129) |
