I'm still trying to figure out how we signed Grossman and I just realized it when we signed McNabb. The only thing I can figure is I saw the thread and figured it was another "What If" thread and just ignored it.

Ok...born 8/16/83. So he is 26 now and 27 when the season starts. So in my theory he would be 30 in 2014 (not 31) when we may think about replacing McNabb. A I guess my main point is that if we are going to bother grooming someone he should be 22 not 27.player Colt's age should already be at least a #2 QB. I think if he is not good enough to beat out Grossman this summer then we should move on.
This will be Colt Brennan's 3rd season, last year spent almost entirely on the IR.
I agree that if he does not surpass Rex Grossman on the depth chart at some point this season, his stint in DC will most likely be over.
If CB does step up and beat out RG for the 2nd QB spot on the roster, then I believe that he would have earned the "QB to Groom" spot.
I see nothing wrong with his age. In 3-4 years supposing that he was still on the roster, It would be for a VERY good reason. The only reason CB would be on the roster in 2014 is to be the starter or just taking over the reins ala Kevin Kolb.

LOL, it's funny to think we actually think 26 is "getting a little too old".
In reality Brennan is a long shot, more likely to get cut than become the next Joe Montana, but I'd love for him to do it!

Daryl Clark is a marginal threat to beat out Pineapple Jesus. Colt will be suiting up for us next year.

We just got through 5 years of wondering weather or not a 1st round pick would produce. God knows how well an undrafted free agent would go over. Ironically though I like Clark. He has the numbers, size, and other attributes I like in a QB.
