Wow! Did he ever just lower the boom on OSU. You could also argue that this is what's wrong with college football today.

I hope he win's out, I would rather see him lower the boom on the NCAA I think they are the real culprits in all this, he can't play college he can't play NFL who are any of these organization's to say he's not allowed to earn a living, while the NCAA rake's in million's off of these kid's and tell's them their entitled to nothing, obviously Clarrett is not college material, but the NCAA who is so worried about a student's education allow's him to slip through the crack's, why? Because his star power bring's in big buck's, I really don't blame the school it's the NCAA with the blessing of the NFL who set up the system and encourages this sort of thing, the biggest bunch of garbage I ever heard is the NCAA and the NFL saying they are keeping Clarrett out of the draft because he is not physically ready, so instead of allowing him to enter the draft and watch him not get drafted so other's will learn their lesson from him, they come in with a last minute injunction to deny him draft status, because they know if he succeed's it will open the flood gates for the rest of the under classmen to take a shot at the NFL, depleting the star power from the NCAA, I know Clarett had a scholarship for football but don't you have to have good grades to get into a college regardless, I would love to see this kid's grades in high school, bottom line we all know this kid shouldn't be in college to begin with but so long as he was bringing in money everyone looked the other way, when that ended and Clarett applied for the NFL nobody needed him any longer, he was then denied the right to go out and prove his abilities, IMO that's discrimination and it happen's so the NFL can have a farm system they don't have to pay for, and the NCAA can make billion's for kid's they don't have to pay, it's time to stop the charade we all know a lot of these kid's are their for 1 thing and 1 thing only sport's, let's stop with the education nonesense trying to justify the system.

Rome took the words out of my mouth this morning. "While Clarett is a questionable person, he didn't just decide to wake up this morining and make this stuff up."

Maurice was wrong on some issues, but so was OSU. They knew exactly what they were doing with their "personal tutors" for Maurice.

Im with offiss. Kid can straight up play. Whoever drafts him in the late rounds are going to get a great running back.

DASEAL GUARANTEE!

I agree, but I don't think he will last into the late round's, if this kid was going to be a late rd. after thought kind of pick there wouldn't be this much commotion, It's all NFL propaganda to discredit his abilities in the court of public opinion, I don't think he makes out of the first rd. part of the reason he was taken off a lot of draft board's was ohio state athletic director Andy Geiger, he apparantly trashed Clarett to as many NFL scout's that would listen, which Clarett found out about and now it's payback, how bad can this kid be I don't believe he has any criminal problem's, he accepted gift's from the booster's like almost every other star in the NCAA, his bbiggest problem was he didn't want to go to school and wanted to play in the NFL, BIG DEAL!

One thing to remember is that is all of what Clarett is saying is true, why wouldn't the staff at OSU be fighting to keep him on the team? They would be jeopardizing the future of their program and the national title they won by exposing themselves to charges.

Fighting to keep Clarett would likely buy his silence. They didn't do that. Maybe they feel they have nothing to hide.

Its not like OSU is the only place this is going on. Its proboly happening over the country... Clarett is very suspect just because of the trouble he's been in. I tend to belive he was proboly reciving benifits, but I also think he waited until now to say it for a reason. I pretty much agree with all parties invloved.
