Anybody know how many rb's Oak. has now? I wonder what Rock's chances are of making the team? His spec. team work is his meal ticket, he never was much of a rb & now he's 30.

I think Oakland should win atleast 7 games this yr. JC should have a decent year (17 TD'S) or so, and their D is very solid. No WR'S though and D-MAC is a D-BUST

What the hell? Do they want Heyer? How about for a seventh rounder in 2021.

Al Davis is a special teams player bloodhound, even though Rock isn't that great of an athelete and too much of a character guy.

So two ex-Skins and two ex-Terps. Nice.I'm actually rooting for the Raiders to succeed with Jason. A big part of that will be Heyward-Bey's development. With their excellent draft and the addition of Campbell for a pittance, the Raiders could be a .500 team next season.

Man i've got a bad feeling that we could miss the playoffs at 8 and 8, but that the raiders will go in....I hope thats not the case.

Is Al Davis dead? The raiders are suddenly becoming too competent....

The Raiders aren't getting into the playoffs. The AFC is just too loaded. The AFC East alone could produce 3 playoff teams. Besides, adding JC and Rock suddenly has people worried about the Raiders making the playoffs? C'mon.

I could see them being 2nd behind San Diego. I don't expect that Denver or KC will challenge much this year, and, excluding our game, Cable seems to have Oakland buying in. I doubt they will win a playoff game, but with the AFC East battling to the bone, an easier division schedule could give Oakland a backdoor shot at a 9-7 wildcard.

My crazy scenario which would be awesome (but unlikely) to see: Oakland v Redskins in a rematch of SB XVIII with the Redskins winning in the new playoff format when McNabb completes a 4th and 31, then throws a TD to Kelly after Oakland settled for a 35 yd field goal on their first OT possession. Final score Oakland 24, Skins 27, in Dallas' new stadium where cowboys fans held a mass Jim, err Jerry, Jones ritual right before the game.

I actually like KC's chances more than Oakland's. I don't think either will make the playoffs, but KC could rise up to 7-8 wins.
