1-4(4) Trent Williams (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/player/_/id/25689/trent-williams) - OT - (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/positions/_/id/46/year/2010/offensive-tackle)Oklahoma (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/schools/_/id/2345/year/2010/oklahoma)
What he brings: This a risky pick. There are concerns about Williams' work ethic and commitment to improving his game. However, the reward could be well worth the risk. He's the most naturally gifted tackle in this draft. He has a quick first step and lateral mobility to prevent NFL pass-rushers from turning the corner, and also has the power and nasty disposition to quickly develop into an effective drive-blocker. How he fits: It was no secret the Redskins and new coach Mike Shanahan needed to add a prototypical left tackle for them to succeed quickly. The addition of QB Donovan McNabb (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=1753) inspires hope in the offense and Williams can bring some stability to the offensive tackle position. Players were in and out of both tackle spots last season, and the team?s best offensive tackle, Chris Samuels (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=2134), retired in the offseason. This pick was absolutely necessary and Williams will start from day one.

4-5(103) Perry Riley (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/player/_/id/25386/perry-riley) - OLB (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/positions/_/id/89/year/2010/outside-linebacker) - LSU (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/schools/_/id/2250/year/2010/lsu)
What he brings: Riley is your prototypical linebacker with good overall size, instincts and a nose for the ball. He can clean up his angles and run fits on occasion. He shows above average point-of-attack skills, the ability to shed blocks and is a sound overall tackler.
How he fits: Riley will have the opportunity to move inside in the Redskins' 3-4 defense. London Fletcher (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=1680) is still one of the most dynamic, undersized linebackers in the league, but he won't last forever. Rocky McIntosh (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=9621) could be hard to resign as well. This was a pick for future depth.

6-5(174) Dennis Morris - (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/player/_/id/25833/dennis-morris)TE - (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/positions/_/id/7/year/2010/tight-end)Louisiana Tech (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/schools/_/id/2248/year/2010/louisiana-tech)
Morris is an undersized tight end, who will play an H-back role. Won't be a big contributor as a run blocker, but can make plays in the passing game due to his athleticism and above-average ball skills.
Highlight Tape
7-12(219)Terrence Austin (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/player/_/id/25866/terrence-austin) - WR (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/positions/_/id/1/year/2010/wide-receiver) - UCLA (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/schools/_/id/2449/year/2010/ucla)
Austin is an undersized slot receiver who shows good quickness in and out of breaks as well as the toughness to make a catch in traffic. He also brings value as a returner.
Highlight Tape
7-22(229) Erik Cook (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/player/_/id/25365/erik-cook) - OG - (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/positions/_/id/47/year/2010/offensive-guard)New Mexico (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/schools/_/id/2323/year/2010/new-mexico)
Cook lacks great inline strength and toughness on the interior. Still, he brings the potential to add depth with quickness and angles to the point in Washington's zone-blocking scheme.
Highlight Tape
7-24(231)Selvish Capers (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/player/_/id/25681/selvish-capers) - OT - (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/positions/_/id/46/year/2010/offensive-tackle)West Virginia (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/schools/_/id/2476/year/2010/west-virginia)
Capers has quick feet and much upside as a pass-blocker. It's not that he lacks toughness, but he needs to get stronger in the upperbody and be a more physical run-blocker.
