Outstanding 7th round.

Even Terrence Austin looks like a great kick returner with excellent hands.
Might be a slot guy as well.

I really like the OL picks as well, but my favorite pick, aside from Williams of course, is Dennis Morris. My initial reaction was "Oh no, another Eddie Williams, Manuel White type pick"...Then I watched his highlight video. I know highlight videos only show the upside, but this dude has ridiculous upside....I counted at least two blocks where he blew the helmet off of the defensive player, numerous blocks where he drives the defender directly to the dirt and a few blocks where he lays out the unassuming defender, reminiscent of the Sean Taylor block on that guy from the Lions in '07. The guy also plays through the whistle. There seems to be no quit in this guy. He also seems to have a great set of hands and an ability to make things happen after he catches the ball. If I'm Mike Sellers, who I'm a big fan of, I'm worried about my job.

Thank God!!!!! Once more I have to eat some crow. These OL picks are huge. Our new FO does indeed have a plan and have addressed our number one need bigtime. I don't know if these guys will pan out, but at least they are addressing a major sore spot on the roster. I freaked when they picked up the WR from UCLA. I am 165 lbs, and even if I was a gifted WR like TO I am not sure I would want to play in the NFL. That guy gets nailed by an OLB and he is a goner!!!!!

So the final tally

1st - Trent Williams - T - Oklahoma
2nd - Donovan McNabb - QB - Eagles
3rd - Jeremy Jarmon - DE/OLB - Kentucky
4th - Perry Riley - ILB - LSU
5th - Adam Carriker - DE - Rams
6th - Dennis Morris - FB - La Tech
7th - Terrance Austin - WR - UCLA
7th - Eric Cook - G/C - New Mexico
7th - Selvish Capers - T - West Virginia

not too shabby and we did get capers after all hope he works in our system go mountaineers! and i like how you listed dennis morris as a fb, if thats what would have been listed when we drafted him i wouldn't lost my mind. gonna be a good year lots of promise hopefully we overperform my intial 6-10 prediction. It was probably a good idea to take Riley early since a lot of LBs were undersized and/or pass rush specialist types only. I'm more than satisfied what with we have. Grades

1st OT Trent Williams A+, He'll come right in and start
4th LB Perry Riley B, Solid, just solid. A traditional LB
6th FB Dennis Morris B, This guy wants to knock defenders on their ass
7th WR/KR Terrance Austin B, A cocky (rookie) Santana Moss
7th OL Eric Cook B, Value with his versatility
7th OT Selvish Capers B+, Because we waited for him

good grief - stop complaining. weve got a ton of crappy OL on our team right now. the last thing we need to do is waste late round picks on more. we arent going to find any starting linemen in the 7th round. now, we can find special teamers in the 7th round. we also dont have a 5th WR on the roster. hence the WR pick. i wish people would exercise some common sense and stop overreacting to stuff. very solid picks in my opinion.

I am eating crow Aristo, believe me I am!!!!!!! They got Austin and I was thinking the 2006 or 2007 draft when our FO drafted all of those RBs when we already had CP, Betts, Rock, etc.

Very good depth at O line now.

I too am excited about getting average to below average OT prospect Selvish Capers about two rounds behind value. He might actually be the second best OT on the roster. In which case, we're screwed.
