Provided there are no trades that affect our position, we have the 5th pick of the 4th round. I've listed SI.com's 5 Best Available players. Who do you want to see join the team?
Round 4 Pick?BrudLee 04-24-2010, 08:01 AM Provided there are no trades that affect our position, we have the 5th pick of the 4th round. I've listed SI.com's 5 Best Available players. Who do you want to see join the team? BrudLee 04-24-2010, 08:10 AM The tackles on our team, aside from Williams, are nondescript. Heyer is the only one with starting experience, but he also has sack-giving-up experience, which is not the direction we should be going. Bruce Campbell had a 1st round workout, but he really is a 4th round player. His measurables show that he could do well in a zone blocking system as well. Slingin Sammy 33 04-24-2010, 08:15 AM Cam Thomas, DT, UNC - Big, strong, space eater at NT. Kemo isn't a long term solution and may not be 100%. With Thomas, Kemo, and Golston, Haynesworth stays at DE where he should be more effective in the 3-4. Chico23231 04-24-2010, 08:18 AM WR Mardy Gilyard, C Matt Tennant, or LB Eric Norwood....either of these I would be happy with...Bruce Campbell would be a good value here as well. Shanny held a private workout with Gilyard at Skins park. Ive said all along Shanny is going to want his own guy at receiver, this is his chance to make that pick. If Gilyard is there, I think Shanny takes him. vallin21 04-24-2010, 08:19 AM I think the majority of us would like Campbell, and assuming any team isn't moving up, he'll be there. If he's there (I think he will be be) he's easily our starting RT opening day. He fits Shanahans Zone blocking scheme, has good speed and lateral quickness, he's a big guy that can move in space (which MS likes), and can slide to LT if T. Williams gets hurt. Shanahan isn't afraid to take a gamble on talented players and I think he'll get the most out of Campbell. Get Campbell, and you have two bookend OT's for the next 6+ yrs. over the mountain 04-24-2010, 08:21 AM campbell. im a terps fan, he has the athletic ability shannahan looks for in an o lineman, he can sit behind whoever we start at rt until hes ready. campbells drop reminds me of duke robinson. once a top 10 potential pick dropped to 2nd round projection when the draft nears, then drops out of the 3rd round duke got selected in the 5th i beieve and ened up starting at seasons end. i wanted duke back then given how far he dropped. whod we take? henson instead? campbell or a lb. seems cb got hit real hard already. BrudLee 04-24-2010, 08:22 AM I wonder if Allen or Shanahan see any benefit to Evil Dead's local connection? Oh yeah, I'm calling Bruce Campbell "Evil Dead" from now on. You should, too. It's pretty fun. mredskins 04-24-2010, 08:27 AM I wonder if Allen or Shanahan see any benefit to Evil Dead's local connection? Oh yeah, I'm calling Bruce Campbell "Evil Dead" from now on.
