Joe McKnight might be there at 103.
Day 2, rds 2 & 3.Lotus 04-23-2010, 11:09 PM Joe McKnight might be there at 103. vallin21 04-23-2010, 11:13 PM What makes you think he will be there? He's got to fall like 7 more slots and no other OT is close in terms of value Its gunna be close Yeah it's gonna be close, but the teams ahead of us have greater needs than OT. The question is will Shanahan have the patience and the tempermant to work w/ a guy like Campbell? He's not afraid to take a chance on guys who are talented but have some "issues" (Clarett) WaldSkins 04-23-2010, 11:17 PM Joe McKnight might be there at 103. He might be there in the 5th skinsnut 04-23-2010, 11:19 PM Yeah it's gonna be close, but the teams ahead of us have greater needs than OT. He's not afraid to take a chance on guys who are talented but have some "issues" (Clarett) Bruce Campbell was the fastest OT at the combine...faster than Trent Williams...he has way more physical skills than any remaining tackle. So hes dumb...do you guys remember Jacoby? That guy could barely talk. skinsnut 04-23-2010, 11:23 PM Yeah it's gonna be close, but the teams ahead of us have greater needs than OT. The question is will Shanahan have the patience and the tempermant to work w/ a guy like Campbell? He's not afraid to take a chance on guys who are talented but have some "issues" (Clarett) The Vikings could take him at #2....Does he have charachter issues or is he just dumb? At least, the guys combine numbers are borderline 1st round. vallin21 04-23-2010, 11:30 PM I think Minn is set w/ Mckinney and Loadholt but they still might take him. As for the second part, I'm guessing he might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but as long as he knows who to block, his mental capacity is irrelevant. vallin21 04-23-2010, 11:39 PM Bruce Campbell was the fastest OT at the combine...faster than Trent Williams...he has way more physical skills than any remaining tackle. Williams and because of his drop might be motivated to work harder to prove people wrong. the only negative I saw was that he won't give you his all every down (stamina is an issue) but if he comes here, he has huge upside (21) I can't see why he wouldn't be our starting RT opening day. I only weigh 175 lbs and I could start at RT over Heyer vallin21 04-24-2010, 12:02 AM I only weigh 175 lbs and I could start at RT over Heyer  Heyer has been underachieving since he got here, so maybe seeing a fellow Terp come right in and take snaps w/ the 1's will motivate him but I doubt that's gonna happen. SFREDSKIN 04-24-2010, 12:20 AM Everson Griffen, Campbell, Eric Norwood, Ricky Sapp, any of those guys would be a nice pick in the 4th. Griffen would be very nice. |
