is this the most positive Jets fans have ever been?I believe that it is. I miss Jets fans gnashing their teeth in disgust and Kiper ripping their FO after another reach in the 1st round.

I'm just thinking.....If an early 2nd round pick can get you Mcnabb, then I would think that a 3rd round pick has decent trade value....What kind of trade value, if any, does Jeremy Jarmon carry? These picks depreciate in value faster than new cars when they're driven off the lot. I guess what I'm getting at is: would you rather have a third round pick this year or Jeremy Jarmon?

Clausen to Minny?

Name me the last OU (Bob Stoops) QB that had NFL success. Your statement has nothing to do with whether Clausen will be a top level NFL starter.

Right back at you then. Your original post alluded that us(someone) getting Clausen would have us set for a long time. Clausen had more collective talent than Northwestern's Kafka or Pitt's Stull and didn't get the job done. Notre Dame QBs haven't been squat since Joey T. As for Stoops and OU, you are right on the money there. Bradford isn't going anywhere in the NFL. He won't have the huge talent advantage over his opponents like he did at OU.

I can't help but keep checking in to see if we trade into the 2nd round. I kind of wish my internet and TV go out so I can save myself time and just find out tomorrow..
