I find it funny that Tim Hasselbeck, who's married to Elizabeth from the View, is taking a stand for Ben on account that he hasn't been formerly charged.
Big Ben gets 4-6 gamesDirtbag59 04-21-2010, 05:19 PM I find it funny that Tim Hasselbeck, who's married to Elizabeth from the View, is taking a stand for Ben on account that he hasn't been formerly charged. artmonkforhallofamein07 04-22-2010, 12:58 AM ^ Saw that. I really hate hearing a continuing catch phrases used by the media, including Tim Hasselback, "poor judgement" and the other "making bad desicions". Dirtbag59 04-22-2010, 03:34 AM So I did my best GTripp impression and it turns out if Ben was a baseball player he would have been banned for a minimum of 40 games and a maximum of 61 games. jdc65 04-22-2010, 04:35 AM I was expecting 3, so 4 is a tough penalty in my opinion. I also think there is quite a bit more that we don't know about, Ben sounds like he has some real problems. The Steelers could realistically be 1-3 by their break, and have 2 weeks to let Ben rejoin the team before their 5th game. Playoffs might be tough to make for Pittsburgh this year. If I was Buffalo or Oakland, I would jump at the chance for Roethlisberger for just a 1st round pick. If he does straighten out, he should be a Hall-of-Famer. Longtimefan 04-22-2010, 07:46 AM I expected Ben to get some form of punishment from the Commish but not 4-6 games since he wasn't charged or convicted. It demonstrates he's holding true to his word about getting serious with problem players. He may have gotten an indefinite suspension had he been actually convicted. jdc65 04-22-2010, 08:11 AM I think Ben's rap sheet looks a lot worse behind closed doors then what we know. I think the Steelers will deal him today. San Francisco or Seattle. jdc65 04-22-2010, 08:13 AM Does Tim Tebow look like a potential Steeler now? Defensewins 04-27-2010, 03:27 PM Article says, "Someone identified only as "a close friend of a Steelers player" said that the reason Roethlisberger had a bodyguard was because of an incident where a man put a gun to Roethlisberger's head because Roethlisberger was involved with the man's girlfriend."
