did prohibition stop people from drinking? cutting back on a little salt is worth this much attention? something that's actually trying to make people alittle more healthy is a bad thing? i know, if the gov't regulates this whats next? my coffee creamer? how much sugar i put in my cereal? some of you guys sound pretty ridiculous

I think without a doubt cereals will have serious legislation introduced on how much sugar they can contain within the next 10 years, Im sereal. Theres already been attempted tv ad cereal bans, because they target kids - but for sereal, kids dont buy cereal. Can parents really not say no to their kids?

Health News : Sugar levels in children's cereals are still 'shocking' (http://www.arch1design.com/Health_News_4.html)

and check this out:

"As we speak, legislation is wiggling through Congress that would ban candy and sugary beverages in schools -- bake sales, a la carte lunches, Halloween goodies, birthday cupcakes -- and stipulate that suitable chow be offered. It's legislation that can't be stopped. It's for the children. "

I just realized we are headed towards a future predicted by the movie Demolition Man, staring Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes.

"It is explained that anything "not good for you" is deemed "bad" and therefore illegal, including alcohol, caffeine, contact sports, non-educational toys, meat, spicy and unhealthy food, table salt and tobacco. Firearms can only be seen in museums. Physical contact was recognized as causing the spread of disease and is now seen as unusual. Even high-fives have been replaced with energetic waving. "Sex" is no longer a physical act for the same reasons, and even kissing is not condoned. Instead, "Vir-Sex" is performed by using sex simulators worn on the participants' heads to replace physical intercourse. Procreation is carried out in a laboratory; abortion is illegal, but so is unlicensed pregnancy. Toilet paper has been replaced by a set of seashell-like items, though their method of use is left unexplained in the movie (though Stallone later suggested a possible method in an interview as told to him by one of the film's writers[4])."

They have strawberries and hot peppers in those upside-down plants you see on TV too. ;)

I saw that too. I'm going to try that out. My garden is almost ready.

Whatever! At the end of the day you're going to die. Yeah, you might have a really healthy body and some kick ass guns, but you're going to die. That six pack is going to look off the chain in the casket. I don't worry about it myself.

Damn, all you need now is some whiskey, a pack of smokes, some unprotected sex, and you are officially a rebel.

Sounds like a damn fine Saturday night if you ask me.

That's been known for a bit, but looks like they did a more thorough study based on your average everyday people.
