The subject of Green was the last thing mentioned during La Canfora's article about a possible AH trade and they might get him as insurance if they did trade AH. Check out the story on my AH Trade Possible thread. Green was mentioned. Of course it( the Green acquisition) might just be for depth purposes, but you never know.

and I believe that there is a subtle message being sent to Big Al as well. He is great, we all know, but he cannot just come in and assume the starting position because EVERYBODY is competition.
