Are they charging extra for people to go see it? Am I missing something here?
Redskins Blog: Sean Taylor's Locker To Be Moved To FedExField (Club level)SmootSmack 04-17-2010, 07:30 PM Are they charging extra for people to go see it? Am I missing something here? warpaint 04-17-2010, 07:37 PM Are they charging extra for people to go see it? Am I missing something here? Club A Tower is the location it will be placed. I'm not familiar on the workings of the staduim and where you can go with a regular ticket. MTK 04-17-2010, 08:00 PM I think it's time for the team to move on in the locker room, I've got no problem with this at all. If they had moved the locker right away that would have been tasteless, but it's been 3 years now. The organization has handled the whole ST tragedy with class and respect. I don't see how that's changed by letting the public view the locker, and letting the team move on. tryfuhl 04-18-2010, 01:55 AM Hrmmm.. I'm not a big fan, but I'm sure that the new FO isn't as tied to it as we are. I guess it's better to be on display than just sitting in some storage closet or in Danny's office. Moss and Portis were fine though so no reason for me to be upset. tryfuhl 04-18-2010, 01:59 AM Are they charging extra for people to go see it? Am I missing something here? The difference between Ticket A and Club Level I suppose. 44ever 04-18-2010, 09:06 AM Are they charging extra for people to go see it? Am I missing something here? Ummmm... Yeah, they are actually. Mr. Irrelevant, a D.C. Sports Blog by the Brothers Mottram (http://misterirrelevant.com/) TheSmurfs22 04-18-2010, 11:17 AM I think that is in poor taste. Why don't they leave the locker at Skins' park and if they need the space just move it somewhere within the building. They do not need to parade this around FedEx. TheSmurfs22 04-18-2010, 11:19 AM Not sure how much good it will do but I feel compelled to write the organization about this. I wonder if they approached his family about this? SmootSmack 04-18-2010, 11:52 AM Ummmm... Yeah, they are actually. Mr. Irrelevant, a D.C. Sports Blog by the Brothers Mottram (http://misterirrelevant.com/) I don't see where it says people will be charged extra to see the locker. The Redskins have done and continue to do so much for Taylor's family. It will be a shame if that's all forgotten because of this mlmdub130 04-18-2010, 12:06 PM while i somewhat understand putting it on the club level to reduce traffic i think it should remain where it belongs in the locker room. if the want a tribute to sean at fedex they should create a new one there, with game woirn jerseys, and other gear, photos and quotes from fans broadcasters and fellow players. i really don't think this is an attemp to drum up money by placing it on the club level, but i do think moving the locker is a bit much. and i don't think anyone will forget what the redskins have done and continue to do for his family, that is one thing snyder has handeled very well over the past few years imo, i'm just not a fan of this move |
