if we trade ah for draft picks and get anything short of a 1st rounder or a 2nd and another round we will be getting a terrible deal, who ever gets ah is getting him at half price we aleady paid him around 30 mil out of around 42, if we trade him for a 3rd alone that would be one of the most insane trades in the history of the nfl imo
exactly, which is why I said "what we've been hearing so far"...AH does not have the kind of trade value a player of his caliber should b/c people know he is going to pull this bush league stuff as soon as a situation does not suit him...no team wants to trade a 1st and 2nd round pick for an, albeit supremely talented, player who is going to ditch out the second there is some change he doesn't like... sad reality

According to Shanahan's latest statements on the teams website, Haynesworth is not going to be traded. The only player whose name has been mentioned in trade is Campbell. He said AH decided to do his own thing and it's up to him to prove him wrong. He expects him to come in great shape, and Haslett said AH will play all three positions on the D-line.

That's not exactly true...Shanahan said that he is not trying to deal Haynesworth but they are listening to offers for him. That means that if the right offer came along, he would trade Haynesworth in a second

I just asked the moderator to post the link because I can't do it from this computer. Check out the link for yourself on the teams website. It does not mention what you're saying.

Shanahan was pretty blunt in his answers but I think he was using a bit of coach pre draft speak. He also said he wanted more picks, and that he was going to do what is best for the Redskins. On Thursday and Friday I imagine BA will be making and receiving many calls about acquiring picks and trading players.

Saying they "are listening to offers for him" essentially means nothing IMO. Every GM/coach in the league always will tell you they are constantly looking for ways to improve their team. If someone offered the Colts a 1st round pick for each of the next 10 years for Peyton Manning, Bill Polian would probably "listen" to that offer as well. Shopping a player is a very different story of course. And apparently we aren't shopping AH.

Shanahan said Albert Haynesworth is a key part of the Redskins plans and that there had been no mention of trading him or any other player since he's been here with the exclusion being Campbell.
Now I don't know just what to read into that, but it dosen't sound as though the intention is to trade him, unless one chooses to interpet that key part of their plans as being a trade.

From the article:
The offensive line, which struggled last year even before injuries struck, will have a new look without left tackle Chris Samuels and right guard Randy Thomas (released) but Kyle Shanahan said he liked the group as it exists. Stephon Heyer lined up at left tackle and free agent Artis Hicks at right tackle in this go-round.
“You see size and you see speed,” Kyle Shanahan said. “You can’t ask for more.”
Oh yes you can, Kyle. You can ask for much, much more than this current group.
