BLOWN.....shitty way to start the morning.....I REALLY wanted us to land Marshall. Oh well, we didnt have the ammo I guess. We still need another WR to replace Randel El. Hope we go after T.O.

We had ammo enough to make it happen, but 2 2nd round draft picks is too much to give. We have 3 young recievers ready to prove themselves. Any one of them(probably Thomas) can turn into a stud number 1 with Donovan throwing at them. 1000 yds, 7+ Tds. We will turn those draft picks we didn't use on starters at RB & Offensive line. Or maybe the QB of the future beyond Donovan.

Plus he's a malcontent. We've got enough of those. IMO, Brandon Marshall was worth a 2nd a 4th in next years draft to us. Anything more, and let him go elsewhere.

I was happy this morning to see he went to Miami. Away from our division, and they overpaid. Win Win.

There will be a draft in 2011, it's 2012 right now that's up in the air

ok. so the current cba includes a 2011 draft? Even if there's a lockout & the season isn't actually played?

Hey you an RI got engaged! Congrats!

Thanks! It happened on Christmas Day and was the best gift I could ever have gotten.
Yeah, I'm in RI and already have Patriots fans buzzing. I love it!

How is it up in the air? What happens to the incoming class?

4 years, $47.5 million is Marshall's new deal. $24 million guaranteed

Holy cow! For a team not recently notorious for big spending, Dansby and Marshall certainly changed that! I just pray for conduct clauses (a lot of them).

The college players that would normally enter the draft basically would be like unrestricted free agents

It now looks like the Dolphins overpaid. Is he the best WR in the league? He could be one day but not right now. I don't think the miami nightlife won't help his cause.

Yeah, I've thought of that and it scares the hell out of me.
