Maybe I missed it, how are you defining "fascists"? (That question is for both Trample and Joethiesmanfan)

(That question is for both Trample and Joethiesmanfan) government lawyers tearing down the little people. JoeRedskin 04-09-2010, 01:38 PM First off, this thread is retarded. Not because of the topic, but because of the mostly inane discussion that has ensued. There are some good points scattered but by and large, most of these posts are drivel. I think I can wrap up firstdown's feelings pretty succinctly. [B] He's in favor of lower taxes, but still thinks everyone should pay their fair share of those lower taxes. In other words, he'd be more in favor of a flat tax, while keeping taxes relatively low. I don't think for a second he's doing the math on that, but those are his feelings. Firstdown, go back to high school and take some expository writing classes. For Christ's sakes, you write like a child. Yup. And quite frankly, I just don't know that a flat tax would work or what percentage would be necessary to fund even a stripped down government. I would suggest that a straight flat tax with no gradation for income would simply be insufficient to fund such a government OR be so brutal (hand over 40% of your gross income) as to unpassable. Mind, you I don't necessarily oppose the thought of a flat tax. Just wondering how it would look in real numbers. JoeRedskin 04-09-2010, 01:39 PM government lawyers tearing down the little people. Considering all the govt. lawyers out there that's just pure democracy - majority rule. joethiesmanfan 04-09-2010, 01:57 PM According to Tramp facists = Republicans and Democrats conservatives = equal peopl that like small government, and if it ain't in the constitution we don't so it. (That question is for both Trample and Joethiesmanfan) It is how they define themselves, by they're actions, not what they tell you. No one is going to say they're fascist these days because of the association with WWII. Fascism is the take over of industry by the state or vice versa. It is a left wing take over of industry or vice versa. Government and industry become one and are controlled by an oligarchy. Most of the time the General Staff puts up one of their own as the front man, Kadafi, Akma-dingle-berry, Mussolini, Franco, Hitler. I would refine my classification as this: Democrats = Communist (because they're international) Republicans = Fascist (some of them still appear to have some loyalty to the US, but they're still socialist) Democrats and liberals say that the Republicans and "so-called" conservatives are right wingers. There is a shred of truth in this. They are to the right of them, but they're still on the progressive wing of politics because of their socialist leanings. Examples: Jorge W Bush, Juan McShame. I don't understand how anyone still believes in this Kabuki Theater? They're all socialist. Politics is nothing more than a soap opera for ugly people, WWF without beer. saden1 04-09-2010, 02:07 PM It is how they define themselves, by they're actions, not what they tell you. (Space Exploration)? There are only two real choices: Left = Oligarchy Right = Constitutional Republic tryfuhl 04-09-2010, 02:09 PM I don't always agree with people like CRedskins, GMscud, and FRPLG, but at the end of the day I do respect their ability to cogently present and argue their respective positions. But Firstdown, you are just a headscratcher. You are against tax-cuts now? I really question whether you even understand your own political philosophy. It depends who's extending the cuts. And there's no way that it can be argued that someone would be opposed because of our spending, because we've been throwing money around for years now. Trample the Elderly 04-09-2010, 02:11 PM You need to be sent to a re-education camp. Is that what your God told you Sodden? |
