Please tell me you didn't forget about Jason Witten...
My fault, thought that you were saying 2008 was part of his big decline.

With TO it's not so much about his production levels either up or down, rather more about the distraction he is. His abilities cannot be disputed, who left in the league want to deal with the drama he brings?

Thats what makes him so intriguing. He a 2 edged sword.
You want him on your team because you know what he can bring.
You don't want him on your team because you know what he can bring.

Trade Kelly, and swap 1sts for Marshall, Sign T.O..........Draft Okung and Our offense is top 10 if all goes well. I think we would have a powerhouse offense and a great defense like we usually do!

if we swap first rounders for marshall how do you plan on drafting Okung?

Yes I was. He had a few games in a row with under 40 yards and then he busts out 213 yards against a San Francisco team that gave him a free release throughout the whole game because Singletary believed they could stop him for whatever reason and 100+ yards that blowout LOSS to Philly.

Shawn Springs basically handed folks the gameplan to limit him that year and beyond. Jam him at the line and he isn't going to always beat it anymore.

He also had averaged 73+ yards a game or more every season from 2000 to 2007, sometimes much more. The 65.3 in 2008 is a significant decline.

Yeah and that 73.x season was his first in Dallas.. guess he fell off.. then came back.. is falling off again

things change year to year man, you can find shit like that for any receiver in the league pretty much

I would take him if:
-he gets a one strike keep your mouth shut rule
-he comes with a roll of duct tape to shut him up
-shannahan truly believes he still has something left in him
If not, absolutely NO.

Drew Bledsoe was the starter up until game 7 and he had only two sub 40 games. Romo was there for 14 games in 2008 and he still posted multiple sub-40 yd games.
