I would like to take a little time out from all the hoooplah and thank Jason Campbell for a few things.

1. For closing down TX Stadium(dump) with a Redskin Victory. All though we should have opened up the new dump with one.

2. For being a true class act my man, how you made it through that circus of a season last year speaks volumes of your character. A lesser man (ex.Jeff George) would have made that situation so much worse than what it was. I personally would have mofo’ed a player, coach, official, reporter, my dog, all the Sherman’s, an old woman, the owner, Vinnie, or anyone close to that mess.

3. For not being a Heath Shuler. (got a feeling the new #5 is gona be a little better)

4. Never complaining about the offense. I lost count of exactly how many coordinators you studied under, but you could probably put together you own offense by now. I think this will do you well where ever you land.

5. For not blowing your ACL on Zorn’s slip-n-slide.

6. For surviving last year behind that o-line. That in it’s self was a true festivus miracle. That’s the first time I ever saw where a one man rush could get to the quarterback. I thought every time u dropped back it was gona be a screen. (I will give Buges some lovin, cause I thought he did one heck of a job considering).

7. Thanks man, I wish you well.

We've spoken at great length of late about Jason. Is Campbell headed out the door? Campbell will now stay away from Redskin Park. Campbell, it's just totally different than it used to be. The latter is like ringtones for him being different in more ways than one, mainly he's no longer the starting QB, though he may be afforded the opportunity to return.

I'll give Jason his props for the man he is. He obviously loves the game of football, his willingness to endure the torture of last season is a testament. Whatever happens with Jason, I wish him the best....he deserves it.

Isn't this a little premature? He's still here, for now.

I wish him the best too. He was never the answer here, but he was still a classy guy and a good teammate.

so, with hugs and kisses and a cherry on top, BYE? Adios? Vaya con dios? Aurvoir?

can we just trade his ass and move on? I hate all this BS talk like he was one of the redskin greats and we should appreciate him more. Sorry, but just like the guy in the elevator that rips a fruity fart, I dont have a soft spot in my heart for Jason "Stink up Fed Ex Field" Campbell.

I just don't.

Great character guy, mediocre QB. Good luck on your future endeavors! If he could have executed, maybe he wouldn't have had so many Offensive coordinators. Good Luck and THANK GOD you won't be the starting QB for the Redskins!!

yes the true miracle was surviving behind that OL. No QB could ever succeed behind what was the worst OL I've ever seen at the pro level.

I cannot remember a guy who has had so much promise go through that much change year to year as he did. I wish him the best if he is traded, although I fear where ever he goes, (Jacksonville, Carolina, Oakland) are all places to likely end up with a new coach in 12 months.

Honestly, the new regime owed him nothing....no players were owed anything by Shanahan and company....
