Why can't Jason just go into the priesthood? He is a great guy. Won't hurt a fly. No killer attitude. Let's knight him with Sainthood.
But with all that said, he still can't read a defense or find an open receiver.

Let's be honest the guy has gone through a lot of crap, and he is a decent QB. He did his best, but it wasn't enough. Consider him a casualty of the drama that has been unfolding the past decade for this franchise. I think he would have improved even a bit more if we rebuilt the line for him, but we will never will be allowed to see it happen. I see Donovan as a medium term stop gap, so I am not going to get really attached to him.

I would like to take a little time out from all the hoooplah and thank Jason Campbell for a few things.
1. For closing down TX Stadium(dump) with a Redskin Victory. All though we should have opened up the new dump with one. yeah, but mark brunell led the monday night mircale
2. For being a true class act my man, how you made it through that circus of a season last year speaks volumes of your character. A lesser man (ex.Jeff George) would have made that situation so much worse than what it was. I personally would have mofo’ed a player, coach, official, reporter, my dog, all the Sherman’s, an old woman, the owner, Vinnie, or anyone close to that mess. He does have great character, true. But, he doesn't win games. Our punter had a rushing and passing TD before campbell did.
3. For not being a Heath Shuler. (got a feeling the new #5 is gona be a little better)b
4. Never complaining about the offense. I lost count of exactly how many coordinators you studied under, but you could probably put together you own offense by now. I think this will do you well where ever you land. that's because everyone knew our whole offense was terrible. no reason to beat a dead horse.
5. For not blowing your ACL on Zorn’s slip-n-slide.
6. For surviving last year behind that o-line. That in it’s self was a true festivus miracle. That’s the first time I ever saw where a one man rush could get to the quarterback. I thought every time u dropped back it was gona be a screen. (I will give Buges some lovin, cause I thought he did one heck of a job considering).
7. Thanks man, I wish you well.
Last, I saw him step out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage before throwing the ball away...TWICE.
I dont see why anyone would still want him.

I hope there is a squad that does, for at least a 3rd rounder.

I heard that JC has such a strong arm, that when he goes fishing and throws out the lure the fish jump up to get it but can't get high enough and it lands on the opposite shore.
Jason, I hope you get the starting job in some city; preferably New York, Philly, or Dallas. That way Landry can play at the line instead of in a different time zone since he doesn't have to worry about the ball going over his head.
Jason and his agent need to be very proactive right now. They need to hard sell him to some team for at least something reasonable like a fourth round pick. I am worried that they will not be capable of doing it because Jason "Sittin on the Dock of the Bay" Campbell would rather be listening to Otis Redding at his favorite fishing hole takin it easy being laid back and country.
I think he has a great way about him and I am in no way saying that he doesn't have a right to be himself, but the dude is just so mellow I am worried that he will just be like I will just sit back and let teams call my agent and then the phone never rings.

I feel bad for Jason.
Every year i defended em and gave him a chance.
But.... it had to be done.

I really wanted JC to be the starter b/f the trade...great guy. I have always supported him...but after listening to Mcnabb..i see what jason was missing. The ability to lead and people follow. Big Al even said Jason was scared to change plays even if the coverage showed you should because he didn't want to make coaches mad..well #5 will change the call...plus he worked out before the press conference and teammates responded to that. Jason couldn't do that....mostly cause his nutz were cut off by punk vinny along time ago...so I hope jason gets a chance to start somewhere else and shine...except against us
