They should trade Al out of the division if they want to get rid of him. Even a lazy Al was OWNING Dockery in TC last preseason and I doubt Rabach pinching in on the double team would provide much help.

Ruhskins 04-05-2010, 03:21 PM I think the media (i.e. ESPN980) is making a bigger deal than AH or Landry are. Honestly, it is a non-story in my opinion. BigHairedAristocrat 04-05-2010, 03:24 PM if we could trade AH for a top 40 pick or an under-28 starting-caliber lineman, i would be a very happy camper. Deal JLW428 04-05-2010, 03:26 PM This is a business. This is part of the business. No need to mend fences. I am not sure how much is fact and how much is rumor when it comes to who was offered. Exactly. This is a business, and theres no crying in football! MTK 04-05-2010, 03:27 PM Hard to imagine someone else wanting Haynesworth with that contract he's under. Defensewins 04-05-2010, 03:31 PM Exactly. This is a business, and theres no crying in football! I don't get all of the AH and Landry hate. Neither of them has said a word about the RUMOR that they were offered as trade bait. So did someone from the Eagles or Redskins confirm they were offered or is it some moron reporter trying to get on TV? Just wondering if this is based on fact or rumor? MTK 04-05-2010, 03:39 PM Exactly. This is a business, and theres no crying in football! Dick Vermeil would beg to differ :) BigHairedAristocrat 04-05-2010, 03:41 PM Hard to imagine someone else wanting Haynesworth with that contract he's under. why? we've already paid him 40 of the 42M he's garaunteed. he's very affordable (relatively speaking) for the next 3 years. sandtrapjack 04-05-2010, 03:49 PM All I can say is it speaks VOLUMES on the way they feel about Haynesworth if they attempted to trade him only one year after signing him. -OR- the more likely scenario>>>>>>> Hey, it is a non-cap season and a perfect time to shed away lots of lingering dollars. Maybe the decision was purely financial? |
