My only problem with getting rid of Haynesworth is due to the fact that Shanahan has had trouble with defense for a while now. I figured that getting Haynesworth would at least provide a high floor. Man Rolando McClain would be perfect for this team though but it sounds like we're not getting a first round pick.
well if we got a 2nd for haynesworth and traded down with a team like sanfrancisco, we could certainly use one of those picks on McClain. I have the feeling the skins (and other teams) are going to be very very busy in the weeks leading up to, and during, the draft.

Fences to mend? The only fence to mend is shipping that "fat fuck" out of town. What a waste of money (once again).
Yeah, our sacks were cut in half when fatso came in and did absolutely nothing!

I never said that he didn't make a difference, the problem is he is getting a lot money and not living to expectations, has his own agenda which includes not listening to the new coach and also not being a team player.

A) the money is between him and the team - who cares
B) He met people's expectations for those who were expecting him to be the player he always has been, he didn't meet the expectations of people who thought his price tag reflected a change from who he was
C) What does it mean to have his own agenda?
D) He came in the first day - thus he listened to the coach literally, not necessarily in spirit
E) I guess he's not, but he is still a team player on the field and at mandatory practices.

Then why are Shanahan and Bruce Allen shopping him around? Something is fishy around here.

Haynesworth is very risk-averse after last season. That has begun his undoing. I like him and I think he's a stud, but Shanahan will boot him like he has done with others unless he simply can't move him.

might not be the best fit for their scheme.. most potential return
we're not the only team that pulls these moves

Well, I think not showing up for the later dates did tick Shanny off, and at the least he wants AH to know he can be traded. And BA is clearly calling, checking seeing what he can get for who. It's called due diligence. And finally, I don't think Shanny is tied to any player on this team at this point except DMcNabb. That's his guy, everyone else, the team is bigger than the player.
