Everyone seems to forget that apparently Shanny was dangling Landry as a trade bait. It seems that the media finds it easier to target Haynesworth.
Well Haynesworth does make for a bigger story/bigger fail. They just paid the guy 21 million about a week ago... Which makes me think they offered him to Philly before he was paid.
I like Landry a lot (at least a lot more than most people around here) but I can't say that I would have been too upset with a Landry/McNabb deal straight up.

AH will not be traded thats like ESPN reporting in their "rumor mill" The Insider that TO and McNabb will be reunited. It is all for more hits on their site.

Never say never, after the McNabb deal nothing surprises me with this new regime.

You might as well say goodbye to Haynesworth washingtonpost.com (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/04/06/AR2010040604120.html). The only salvation would be Suh as a replacement for him.
If you are right then not only is he costing us 40 million for 1 year but the #4 pick as well (for a replacement).
That seems like an overreaction to me. Can we not just coach him up?

I doubt we will try a trade that wouldn't give our money back. AH was solid last year hopefully this puts a chip on his shoulder. Shanahan knows how to motivate and this could be a great motivating tool.

Only if AH is willing to go along Shanahan and Haslett's plans, if not he's a much more expensive Jason Taylor.

I doubt Haynesworth would be traded, unless a good offer comes along. Which I think holds true for Landry, maybe Rogers, and maybe Carter.
I feel that just about every single move that our new FO has made, has been all business and pretty logical. And I'm sure a trade for any of these guys, would be because of a good offer and not some petty crap like he didn't show up for workouts.
And if we traded, I would just see spending 40 mil of Snyder's money for some picks.

Which he has said so in public. And honestly, I think Haynesworth is right and he should be played as a DE. Not because of some pettiness or because he's being a diva or whatever, but because it makes football sense. I would hope that the days of fitting square pegs into round holes are gone in this team.

Your right. But did ESPN even once mention the possibility of McNabb coming here. But now they are saying TO is on his way, rumors suck.

I guess that is one way to look at it. I see letting the most destructive lineman in the league walk away because both sides are too stubborn to compromise.
What if Suh or McCoy are just another Glenn Dorsey?
