Now that we have brought in McNabb as well as signed veteran QB Rex Grossman to a 1 year deal, would we expect Shannahan to keep three aging quarterbacks, not draft a rookie, and cut Brennan? My guess is we replenish our draft pick stock that we lost in getting McNabb by trading campbell for whatever picks we can get. Is he gone?

I think you can add Colt Brennan to this thread too.

If he's not he sure as hell should want to be. The guy should be about tired of the Redskins playing games with him, it's time for him to think about moving on.

Brennan is definitely gone as is JC...however, I wouldn't put it past Shanahan to pick up a qb in this draft to groom for 2 years

not much sense in keeping campbell around anymore. shame to see another first round qb not work out for us (shuler, ramsey, campbell)

I doubt strongly that JC has a job this season if he is released, barring an injury during pre-season and somebody signs him. The guy over at Roto said just a few hours ago that there was very little interest in Campbell at all as a FA pickup. His best chance is just stay in shape incase someone gets hurt and that's his way back in the league.

I also doubt that any team would give anything for him. JC, in all truthfulness, would probably only net a 3rd or 4th round pick...

Maybe somebody should make a "Thank You Jason" thread? totally not being sarcastic. I was never a fan of his, but he was classy and always handled himself professionally...

If he got the job done the Skins would not have played these so called games. Thats probably why no one is knocking down our door to pick him up. Actually now I'd like for him to stay because he would make a good back up.
