Goodbye Brennan too.
You may wish JC was around WHEN McNabb gets hurt and Rexy is starting.
Not quiet yet, my friend.

same, and I think Shanahan maybe thinking the same thing. I think we shouldn't waste any one of our precious picks on a QB, when we could get more OL, DL, LB's, CB's, and FS's.
agreed. Cooley, JC, and 'los for add'l draft picks and drop fro #4 and nab a 2nd rounder with a lower 1st. Could end up being a great draft, considering.
BTW, I would be upset if we move Haynesworth. I think he is a great player, and will do better this year with a good coaching staff.

Here's the thing. Campbell didnt win us games as a starter, and now people are already wishing for McNabb to get hurt so that Campbell can play??? thats crazy

You really didn't need that 2nd cup of coffee.
Perhaps I should explain myself a bit:
i think Campbell gets moved before noon today / by the end of the day at the latest. Campbell's presence here is a distraction the team doesn't need. It would be ideal for him to be traded before McNabb's introductory press conference today. That way, the focus can be on the future of this team and not, "what happens to campbell?"
I think Landry gets moved by the draft. It seems he's been on the market for a while and now word has gotten out that we tried to trade him (possibly in a package) for McNabb. He knows he's not wanted here. it'll be hard to expect him to give this team 100% going forward.
I think, if we can receive a top 45 pick, Haynesworth will be traded by the draft. i've been saying for months that the team would try to get rid of him and now its been confirmed. I don't see Haynesworth taking the news that the team tried to trade him well. His contract has already been restructured to be more cap-friendly for the rest of 2010 going forward. Any contending team that needs a DT should be interested. I would not be surprised to see him traded to Tampa Bay or return to Tennessee. I think the Giants are also a very distinct possibility.
I think Brandon Marshall will be on the team before May. Whats the point in signing McNabb if he doesnt have anyone to throw to? I think Marshall could get traded to Denver for a 2011 2nd rounder or a player/package of players.
I think if a team offers a 4th round pick for Portis, he will be traded. This has probably been true ever since Shanahan and Allen took over.
I think Cooley or Davis will be traded before the draft. We need to shore up our offensive line before signing McNabb - its become an even greater need now. Now that we don't have a 2nd round pick, having two pass-catching TEs is simply a luxury we can't afford. i can see either of them going for a low 2nd rounder (or a starting o-lineman).
I didn't mention it earlier, but now that we've brought buchanon in, we are fairly deep at CB. This draft doesnt have a single elite cornerback. Even with the dropsies, Rogers >>> Joe Haden. I think he's gone if we can get a 2nd rounder for him or perhaps even a high 3rd (or a starting o-lineman)

^who wants mcnabb to get hurt?
That's just a lot of trade action in a league where big trades aren't that common. We'll see.

Yes, but there were lots of rumors swirling about it.

No one WANTS him to now that he's a Redskin, but his history indicates that chances are, he will at some point.
If we don't somehow upgrade the line beyond just picking Okung, chances are very good that we'll see Rex on the field (is JC is not the backup, which looks unlikely).
Look how badly Campbell was beaten last year. I don't think McNabb could have survived that.
