Here's Matt Williamson's take on the trade, he's from Scouts Inc:

What Redskins get with Donovan McNabb - NFC East Blog - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/blog/nfceast/post/_/id/12632/what-washington-gets-with-donovan-mcnabb)

I'm a big fan of Matt Williamson, and I feel like a guy like this has a bit more credibility since he watches tape and was an NFL scout, and is probably not out there to try to sell a story like Mosely or any other pundit (SS can correct me if I'm wrong).

That being said, I like his let's wait and see attitude. and I do hope he's right that a Buffalo or Oakland would send their second rounder for Campbell.

I hate that this trade has me agreeing with Matt Mosely:
Tap the brakes on Redskins playoff talk - NFL Nation Blog - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/21139/tap-the-brakes-on-redskins-playoff-talk)

Mosely is just mad that his little NFC East world could possibly be turned upside down.

It's also interesting that we've brought in now a second "savior" for an offense that has yet to get a talent influx. Maybe we should be saving the Hail Marys for the second half of the offseason?

Who was the first savior? Gibbs? Sherman Lewis? Al Saunders?

Well this link say it all Redskins offered Haynesworth in exchange for McNabb - Shutdown Corner - NFL Blog - Yahoo! Sports (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Redskins-offered-Haynesworth-in-exchange-for-McN?urn=nfl,232011)
yeah heard that both he and someone else were offered, forget the other guy that could've been part of a potential trade

Is it good or bad that every successful comparable team I can think of for the 2010 Redskins offense ended up producing the number one defense?

Moral of the story: offensive moves will look great if the defense you are ignoring completely overachieves.

I heard Landry was in on it. He and Haynesworth were the two players offered for McNabb straight up, both rejected by the Eagles before this weekend.

Stats don't tell the whole story

I'll put the over/under on games played as a Redskin for McNabb at 11.5. You'll bite?

Seriously though, your analysis here is complete garbage. Try to offer something more substantial so I can respond to the argument as opposed to how sore you are being.

No. Your biases are clear enough.
Fact is that McNabb is more experienced than Campbell in the WCO. He's had a lot of years to soak it in.
Fact is that Reid basically tried to "discipline" him into a pure pocket passer. v
Fact is that Shanahan's system does utilize bootlegs and rollouts frequently.
Fact is that McNabb knows how to play on the run.
Fact is that McNabb can put super touch on his deep balls.
Fact is that Campbell can't even manage a practiced back shoulder throw while someone "comparable" like Rodgers does it with Driver all the time.
Fact is that Shanahan knows how to get something out of QBs who have some mobility and can make plays with their arm.(Elway, Young, and hell, even Plummer)
Fact is that McNabb isn't going to be in a one-dimensional offensive philsophy. Implementation may be an issue, but Fat Andy won't be in his way anyone.
Fact is that Campbell can't hold it till that very last moment like many great QBs can. Doug Farrar said as much.

Fact is that you can deny the truth value of the statements, but self-evident things do not need analysis.
