Interesting...
Campbell wasn't told of trade | Washington Examiner (http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/sports/blogs/redskins-confidential/Campbell-wasnt-told-of-trade-89888252.html)
Is this for real?
so Campbell answered out of nowhere whereas he usually doesn't.. and keim is the first guy to reach him?
I guess that it could happen, I've heard that Shanahan called him though
maybe Keim got to him first?

Personally, I'm done with Santana. Santana hasn't been worth two shits since '05.
Cooley is fine, but offenses can go only so far if their best receiving threat is a tight end who has trouble finding the endzone.
Whether you like Moss or not, he can still stretch the field. He seems to fit the D Jackson/D Stallworth mold that McNabb utilized well.
Was is Cooley who had trouble finding the endzone or was it the every one of our players under Captain Slip and Slide? So now Cooley is garbage too?!
Zorn never led us to 30 points in a year and a half.

Gtripp doesn't know how badly he's messing with himself. Campbell having to learn a new playbook? No problem for McNabb, who has plenty of experience in the Walsh O. Win for McNabb.
Campbell beating out McNabb short passing-wise? Uhhh, no.
O that requires the QB to throw on the run or extend that play? McNabb wins by a longshot. We know he has the instincts to make plays on the move.
Deep ball? McNabb
Age? Evened out by Campbell lack of experience.
Durability? When Fat Andy passes 50+ times a game, of course he's going to get his QB hurt eventually.

Will this trade with Philly supplant the rivalry between the 'Skins and Cowboys? For years it seemed as if the "hate" between Dallas and Washington was nonexistent. Now, there is something very personal between the Redskins and Eagles. Should provide copious amounts of drama this season and beyond.
This definitely makes the rivalry more meaningful, and perhaps for the first time in a long time, exceeds the Dallas game. I would imagine both games will be nationally televised.

On second thought, if McNabb is here to be the starter (and I wouldn't assume otherwise) then I suppose we go with continuing our OL rebuilding scheme. I just still can't believe this.

someone from scouts inc thinks the raiders could offer their 2nd rounder for campbell. if somehow we can recoup a 2nd round pick, we'd essentially be swapping campbell for mcnabb and a 3rd or 4th rounder next year. that would be an excellent piece of business if we could do that.
IF we could somehow get a second rounder for JC I would be okay with this trade. Right now I feel like we overpaid, just because I can't see any QB succeeding with this o-line.

Most of them aren't former Broncos.
what's that matter?

If there's an owner stupid enough to pay a second round pick for Jason Campbell, it's Al Davis.

Really? Anyone who's not a Redskins fan knows that Eagles/Cowboys has been the best rivalry in the NFC East in recent years. If anything this trade brings Skins/Boys back to forefront as the premier rivalry in the division. Maybe.
Nah, I think this is THE new rivalry. It's not just about the media hype surrounding the trade, but the fans will be hostile as ever. This is going to be a serious grudge match.

JC looks like Warren Moon compared to Jamarcus...
