This is a bit off topic, but who's he going to throw to? Our receivers haven't exactly lit up the field in recent years.
Is D Jackson that much better than Santana? Can I get away with saying that Cooley and Davis are better than Celek and whoever their other guy is?
I think D. Thomas and Kelly are right there with the other nobody receivers that McNabb threw to.
THE FUTURE IS NOW!!!

I really hope we aren't getting that excited over this deal. I mean yeah it's McNabb and maybe this makes us better in the short term but it definitely doesn't make us better long term. And I feel like this hurts Campbell's trade value, because this is officially us saying we don't give a crap about him and he could probably be had for a dime or less.
Like SS already said we will probably see Shanny make some head scratching decisions as coach and I feel like this is the first one. McNabb is good, but #1 he's old, and #2 he's had injury problems. Those are never good combinations. He's going to give us 3-5 years at best and if things don't start out so well I'm probably being generous with that estimate.

Apparently there's a no-trade clause with this deal. McNabb is officially Shanahan's man.
You guys forget he had the no trade policy with the Eagles contract. We just picked it up. He'll be traded if he wants to or is willing to be traded just like he was to us.

Our WR/TE corps should be fine.

How do you know that Campbell wasn't at fault for our poor receivers?

Friday night of the draft just got boring, barring a trade into the second or third.
this is why they said that they'd probably have the 1st and 2nd rounders at the draft day party.. then changed it to just 1st!

It hinges on them being able to acquire this for playing the position. The coaches also need this to put them in a position to make plays (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_capital)

FWIW, here's what John Clayton (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=clayton_john&id=5055486) has to say about the deal...
Kurt Warner for Arizona..

I guess you have to define long term. McNabb is better than JC and I think he will be better than Bradford, Clausen, McCoy and Tebow for at least 3 years if not the duration.
