If you guys dont think this trade is freakin exactly what we needed.....The numbers say it all
2009 Philadelphia Eagles Mc Nabb stats 22 td's- 10 Ints-3,553 yards- 92.3% completions %......Havent seen those numbers in Washington since Doug Williams!!I don't think any franchise has seen a QB complete 92.3% of his passes like McNabb did last year.

I would hope the staff thinks we can trade down, still bet a quality LT and pick up a second. Maybe then maybe draft a Tebow/McCoy. The idea of Tebow learning under McNabb is intriguing.

Well Shanny just made a big acquisition at QB, I think he'd would want the best LT in the draft to watch McNabb's blind side.

While there may be dissension in the ranks about the value of this move, there are a few accomplishments that McNabb has made that do appear to make him the most viable NFL QB Washington has had in a while.

From Wikipedia.com:NFL records

Most consecutive pass completions, 24; vs New York Giants (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_Giants), Nov. 28, 2004; vs Green Bay Packers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_Bay_Packers), Dec. 5, 2004
Least-intercepted quarterback per pass attempt of all time, (4588 attempts-96 interceptions, 2.09%)
Second-best touchdown-to-interception ratio of all time, (209-96, 2.18) behind Tom Brady (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Brady) (217-92, 2.36)
First NFL Quarterback ever to throw for more than 30 touchdowns and fewer than 10 interceptions (2004)
One of six quarterbacks of all time to have over 25,000 passing yards and 3,000 rushing yards (alongside Randall Cunningham (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randall_Cunningham), Steve Young, Fran Tarkenton (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fran_Tarkenton), Steve McNair (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_McNair), and John Elway (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Elway))
Currently the third-highest winning percentage among active quarterbacks (83-45-1, .647) behind Peyton Manning (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peyton_Manning) (119-59-0, .669) and Tom Brady (88-25-0, .779)

That has to be a new NFL record

I like it. We could still keep JC, have him ride pine this year and get the mentoring from a good Vet. I think the draft threads should calm down now also, but you never know. We might still draft a QB?
