SFREDSKIN 04-21-2010, 11:53 AM One more day before draft day, the shit is about to hit the fan!! Put on those seat belts and enjoy the ride!!! CRedskinsRule 04-21-2010, 11:53 AM This is a bit off-topic, but if there is no CBA extension, there won't be a draft in 2011. So what happens if we trade Haynesworth for a 3rd in 2010 and a 2nd in 2011? do we just not get the pick? or would we get the pick in the first year that the draft returned? I guess the same principle would apply to the McNabb trade. If there's no draft next year, do we ever have to give the eagles another pick? the draft is guaranteed for next year. CRedskinsRule 04-21-2010, 11:55 AM its not like PFT just made this up. pretty much every media outlet has said the skins are talking to the titans about Haynesworth. why are you just criticizing PFT and not all of the rest? when you look at ALOT of the reports, they stem from PFT or JLC, both of whom, as has been discussed a ton, are notorious in the way the present the information. It's a simple media spin cycle, and the reality gets washed out of the picture. Matty summed it up very well in the other thread. tryfuhl 04-21-2010, 12:18 PM In other news, seems like Haynesworth may go for only a 3rd-rounder. I hope he has to pay some of his guaranteed money back or we'll be losing a ton. Pure opinion from his former city's paper.. I mean who knows if it could happen, but if it was going to I'm sure that we could've gotten a 3rd from somebody already MTK 04-21-2010, 12:19 PM I'm sure the Titans would love to steal him for a 3rd but we're not going to give him up on the cheap. It's gonna have to be a legit offer. SmootSmack 04-21-2010, 12:24 PM He has a point about TMZ and PFT. You've gotta be naive (or a gossip-seeking woman) to believe those sites. We don't need Bradford either! :D In other news, seems like Haynesworth may go for only a 3rd-rounder. I hope he has to pay some of his guaranteed money back or we'll be losing a ton. Not sure why you knock PFT all the time and at the same time look at rotoworld.com as gospel Dirtbag59 04-21-2010, 12:26 PM I'm sure the Titans would love to steal him for a 3rd but we're not going to give him up on the cheap. It's gonna have to be a legit offer. Lions would have a much better chance offering their third. It's early enough that you could argue it being similar to a late second round pick sort of like how the Eagles are arguing they got a late first for McNabb. Pocket$ $traight 04-21-2010, 12:47 PM Lions would have a much better chance offering their third. It's early enough that you could argue it being similar to a late second round pick sort of like how the Eagles are arguing they got a late first for McNabb. The Eagles saying they got a late first is stupid. They got an early second. tryfuhl 04-21-2010, 12:48 PM Not sure why you knock PFT all the time and at the same time look at rotoworld.com as gospel same parent company too heh.. though roto has some good stuff outside of the speculative posts dang I always find out news from your usertext RIP Guru Monkeydad 04-21-2010, 12:51 PM Not sure why you knock PFT all the time and at the same time look at rotoworld.com as gospel Not really, but they are a convenient place for news from all over and they DO always provide a link to their sources...instead of using "unnamed sources" like PFT. Please don't tell us you're defending PFT. :laughing2 They've earned their reputation. |
