A friend of mine is a big Dolphins fan. He's constantly reading boards like the warpath, only for the fins. He said that people have said Spurrier is a done deal for the fins. If that's true, I found my new #2 team!

That they have preliminary contract terms or that he is their #1 choice when they fire porn mustache Wannstedt? jamf 11-07-2004, 03:29 AM if you were a real redskins fan, your #2 team would be the team playing the cowboys. CROOKEDSKINS 11-07-2004, 04:52 AM I Agree With Jamf Daseal 11-07-2004, 10:45 AM That must be it, I'm not a real fan! Carnage 11-07-2004, 11:09 AM Get real, we're all entitled to out own #2s. skin4Life28 11-07-2004, 11:09 AM I was listening to Dc101 on friday. Elliott in the morning has Boomer Esiason each Fri to talk about the NFL. Elliott told Boomer that Spurrier was gonna get hired at Miami. Boomer thought he was crazy and never even heard the the topic before. Boomer thinks that there is no shot, so he told Elliott if Miami hires Spurrier he will take him to the Pro Bowl. Just thought that was kinda funny. djnemo65 11-07-2004, 01:07 PM I've heard some stuff similar to that too, and on gameday yesterday they were saying that spurrier told lee corso that he had something cooking which he would announce in the next few weeks. I'm still hoping that he comes and takes Paterno's job here at Penn State, although I know that's impossible given our dearth of golf courses in the area. I think its likely that a newly humbled and driven spurrier wants to give it one last shot in the nf. if so, i'll definately be rooting for him to succeed. Who knows, maybe we can have a rematch of the 72 superbowl in a few years (with the results different this time of course). monk81 11-07-2004, 01:09 PM And if Spurrier gets the job............... what will he do with Ricky Willaims.....take him back with open arms...... or trade him for draft picks.......heaven knows the Dolphins need help, especially at the QB position. SKINSnCANES 11-07-2004, 01:12 PM my poor friends that are dolphins fans.... |
