Chris Wilson signs with Redskins

This is a contract extension correct? I know they've been in talks regarding an extension, so it would seem to be a bit anti-climatic if this was a one year deal that just negated his RFA tender.

Sorry to disappoint you but from what I've heard he basically just signed his tender. One year, $1.6 million

That sucks, but at least he'll be in the fold for next year.

I didn't even realize he hadn't been signed. Guess I had taken for granted he was on the team.

All kidding aside, this guy was a great find.

Good for Chris, I'm a fan of his with him being from Flint, Mi also... I've been cheering for him and hoping he gets a chance to show what he can do.

Using more 3-4 looks will really help him. He's got the ideal size for a 3-4 OLB. I like this move.

I like this move too. Wilson should be much more well suited for OLB in a 3-4. This is one guy that needs to take his game to the next level.

^ I agree. Although the switch to the 3-4 may marginalize Carter and/or Jarmon, I think it is a defense in which Wilson can thrive.
