MS he's looking to trade out of #4 & pick up more picks. IMO. Don't show your hand.

^^ I would love to trade out of the 4 and get more picks. The offensive line talent is so deep in this draft we could get our OL of the future in this draft alone.

This is what you get when you have a true professional coach. A guy who'll take what he has in personnel and make a scheme to maximize it.

Adapt the defense to fit the personnel??

Holy crap!!! I just saw a flying pig.

LOL. Seriously. I don't think "elaborate" is the right word.

To paraphrase: Are we a 4-3? Maybe when camp comes around we'll realize we're more of a 4 man front kind of team. Or maybe we're a 3-4. Will we be more like Pitt, Dal, NE, or SD? Who really knows? You can't really make those decisions until you see how your personnel plays.

Shanahan talked for a while and basically said nothing.

Sounds like a 3-4 base isn't necessarily set in stone

It may depend on when Kemo is ready. Phat Al obviously doesn't want to be a full time nose so they need Kemo to fill that role.

Although I think a front 4 of Carter (Jarmon, Lorenzo), Godzilla, Kemo and Philip Daniels is disgusting.

I love how big our defensive line has become.

Just a quick question. Why does the media conviently seem to forget that in the Haynesworth "scandal" Shanahan said he respected Haynesworth for coming to him? All I keep hearing is the part where he says he strongly disagrees with the decision which gets turned into a huge riff.

Because Portis hasn't opened his yap recently and the offeason has reaked of professionalism.

The local media (Polin, Czaban, Lavar, BMitch etc.) don't know what to do when things are run the way they should be.

Hell I keep hearing about how he doesn't want to play NT in the 3-4. Adam Schein said it again yesterday

Still haven't heard AH come out and say those words yet. In fact he's already said he will do what they want and not be a distraction... so where does this BS keep coming from?

I think it's funny also. If Shanahan truly didn't agree or tell AH do whatever works best we might be looking at the Skins shopping AH but instead all is quiet. The media played this issue out simply saying Shanahan and AH respect each other, and AH does not plan to participate and Shanahan disagree's with the decision.

Nobody is providing what the out come was. It's volunter work outs. No team or coach can demand any player to be there. Shanahan can be dissapointed all he wants but if AH shows up fit as a fiddle I don't see any reason for him to be mad. The media simply skips over the volunter part and they emphasize the AH is not present part and Shanahan strongly disagrees with it.
