See but a QB like McNabb needs to land in the right place. You're right, if I was Arizona, I would trade my #1 in a heartbeat for McNabb. Off the top of my head, they are one of the few teams drafting late in the first round that has a bit of a QB situation. Arizona had the adequate offensive line to protect him (since he is no spring chicken), with him they'd be a contender, and they have the offensive weapons (Fitz and the WR group, a young Beanie Wells, etc., etc.)
That's a great call Ruhskins. I couldn't think a better fit for DMc, or Vikings if Favre finally throws in the towel.

I think Kolb is overrated based on his body of work so far. Can he be good, sure, but I don't think he's proven anything yet.

He threw for 391 against the Super Bowl Champs and 327 against KC in back to back weeks. That didn't happen by accident.

They should dump Vick. Somebody would probably take him for a 5th or 6th. Cut and run with him.

I have to think they are keeping him. They recently paid him a relatively large bonus.

I'm worried that Philly is going to finagle multiple high-mid round picks from someone. Like maybe a 1 and a 4 or a 2 and 3 over this year and next. If they draft well, they could position themselves really strongly for the next 4-5 yrs.

$1.5M bonus... I still think they would dump him for a pick if they could.

Well I would say that Whitehurst is a bigger risk than Campbell. And as celt said, teams do overpay for what they think is untapped talent.

Besides, for the benefit of our team, I would hope that someone would value Campbell more than Whitehurst. And I wonder what the unbiased eye would think about this comparison. But as I've always said, to me is about the team not the player. Teams tend to look at stats a lot and situations where QBs were when looking at a player like Campbell. Otherwise, you'd never have players having second chances at other teams.

Actually what they are paying for is a player that has huge up side, meaning he can and will improve. True, how much is the question but the up side is knowing there is room for improvement. JC has basically topped out. After 5 years and only marginally improving shows he does not have much improvement.

Man, get this trade done already.

Get McNabb out of our division please, and clear up the draft a little more.

I'm not sure why everyone is so eager to have McNoodle leave our division. He no longer scares the opponents. After his injury a couple of yrs ago he has not been the same. He no longer scrambles as well so he basically has become a pocket passer. I'd prefer they kept McNoodle, we knew what we were up against. I'm afraid Kolbe will be better and healthier which will give us more problems to defend around.

True, but once they get some real film on him expect those numbers to go down, way down. I don't think KC or NO's game plan was to stop Kevin Kolb. Once he's the permanent starter, they'll start tailoring defenses that negates his strengths.

Yes!!...The way Arizona's team is currently constructed he would be a much better fit there than in St Louis. Arizona is equiped to win now, you would think that's the type situation Donovan would be looking for at this point in his career. There is no "getting better" for McNabb, what you see is what you get, he's undoubtably already played as well as he's ever going to play.
