He can't be a journeyman since no one else seems to want him. :)

very good point. so right now, campbell is a failure/wannabe journeyman. he should print business cards.

Showing a lot of interest in Tebow (and McCoy for that matter) could be an ideal smoke screen. If he's there w/our pick in the 2nd & teams believe we may take him that could open up a trade possibility for more picks.

I think it would be crazy to not at least check him out. Doesn't cost us anything.

Actually we only get something like 30 private workouts so technically there is some cost.

Well hell, even if he's not QB material, he'd be a heck of H-back/TE/RB/whatever, and is locker-room friendly.

I think its most likely that we trade up into the late first round to get him if we really like him. We'd probably throw in next years fourth and swap this years fourths or something like that. If we get Okung with the 4 and Tebow later, that could be good. Okung will have time to develop and will be solid in a few years when Tebow is ready to take the reigns. I do not thing that Tebow is that naturally talented at the QB position, but with his amazing work ethic I'm confident he can turn into a player about as good as Rothlesberger. A guy that a team can rally around and a guy that can get the job done, but not the best out there. I hate to say it cause I really dont like the guy, and was against him for so long, but after watching his pro day, I would not mind if Tebow became a Redskin. But honestly I'd bet that someone will take him before we have the chance.

I definitely wouldn't trade up for Tebow.

This draft is going to be fun. Nobody knows what the hell is going on?!

Tebow intrigues me. I hated Florida and Tebow because they were good. They drove me nuts. But Tebow is a strong guy that is tough to bring down...a lot like Roethlisbuger. If Tebow develops the ability to read NFL defenses successfully and overcomes the hurdles of transitioning to the pro game, he would have a ton of upside. One of few things I hold against Clausen and Bradford is they are kind of skinny and in the case of Bradford, injury prone.
I would not be upset if the Skins take Tebow. Just a hunch that he will work extra hard to become a good pro. Tebow seems well liked by his teammates and appears to be a good leader.
Yes, Tebow will take a year or two to possibly/maybe be great in the NFL. The Redskins are not going to the Sb next year. Our team is two to three years away from possibly being a Sb contender. Given these facts, arguing that that any rookie QB we take has to be NFL ready for 2010-2011 season is pointless and not realistic regardless of which QB we take, especially with the OLine issues we have.

Bradford has bulked up to 236 pounds. Clausen is around 220 which isn't exactly skinny for a QB. Though I agree Tebow probably has the best frame to handle a beating at the pro level.

Redskins will hold a private workout with Bradford the 15th of April according to Jason Reid of the Washington Post.
