According to my dream/nightmare we had a draft that looked like this:

1st (4th Overall): Jared Odrick - DT - Penn State
2nd - Ryan Matthews - RB - Fresno State
2nd - Toddrick Pendland - RB - McCenese State

I have no idea how we got that other 2nd round pick so don't ask.

Beats me? Remember this was all a dream. All I remember is taking a black 3-4 DE from Penn State, a running back from a school with red in their colors (either Wisconsin or Fresno), and a small school running back with blue and gold as their school colors. I also remember the small school guy being a HUGE reach. Thank God it was just a dream.

Saffold is projected to be a possible late first round pick. No way he last to the fifth round.

We'd improve from 4-12 to 5-11 with that draft...and that's not because any of those players are upgrades, only because no more "swinging gate" plays will be called with the coaching upgrades.
