With all of the things that new NFL QB's have to learn, Tebow is going to add learning a new throwing motion and making it so solid that he doesn't revert to old ways under fire. Good luck with that.
I think a more intelligent path for Tebow is to just start prepping to be an H-back now.

So now we've gone in this thread from Grossman to Colt to Campbell to Okung to Tebow...

Shanahan said it best, "We want competition at every position". This is a well calculated move that places the Redskins in a good position for the draft. They now have an experienced backup quarterback under contract for a year. If Sam Bradford drops to #4, Rex Grossman knows the offense and could help bring the kid along and possibly take over if he is slow to develop. Or if the Skins select a tackle at #4, Rex can compete with Jason Campbell for the starting job. Win - win.

Careful, he might be a Redskin...Tebow might drop to the second round. I would not be surprised if the Skins select Tebow in the second round if they take a Okung in the first round.

H-Back may be where Tebow ends up 3-4 years from now, but H-backs don't get QB money and they don't get drafted in the top 2 rounds of the draft.
The most intelligent path for Tebow right now is to continue his endeavor to be an NFL QB. There's no doubt he'll be drafted at some point before round 3 begins and he'll be drafted as, and sign a contract as, a QB.

There should be many good linemen in the second. To use our 2nd rounder on Tebow would be a serious waste of a pick.

I understand your argument. Of course there is the counterargument that, in the long run, the earlier that Tebow embraces a new position, the better chance he has of having a successful career (and nice second contract). If he gives QB a futile try for a couple of years, then tries to get up to speed at a position change, he'll be 30 before he contributes much of anything.
