Today marks a beginning of sorts. This is the first day of the Redskins' offseason conditioning program, and it's the first time coach Mike Shanahan will be able to meet and see many of his players in-person.

I hope they're not expecting the slip and slide games this year.

That will make Campbell happy since he was reportedly the only person who couldn't use the slip and slide, according to zorn...

It's a new beginning. I'd love to see this franchise back on top and regain the class and respect we once had. Here's to hoping this is the start of it. :food-smil

I think one thing that was really out of control under the previous regime was the amount of guys who started the season already injured, and some who were still hurt from the previous season.

i think the training and conditioning staff left a lot to be desired. I know before that Gibbs wouldn't make the veteran or old guys do any kind of extra conditioning in order to keep them semi-fresh, but i think at this point, if anybody can't go when the season begins, then they need to be replaced.

And i agree with saden1. When the guys came out, they did look like shit and looked out of shape....
