How is that different from what I said?

Sorry, i must have misread your post. I thought you said Moss for a 3rd and a 7th.

Anyway, what are the chances we trade Jarmon? He could certainly get us a 3rd round pick (although probably not one nearly as high as the one we gave up for him) and he really doesnt seem to be a good fit for a 3-4.

How about: Jarmon and Moss to Tampa Bay for their second 2nd round pick (42nd overall)?

Well if you were reading the mock draft thread, you would have seen the SF-Was deal that suggested including Jarmon along with picks. There was a small discussion on it ;)

thats actually what sparked my idea here. we should definitely move him, IMO. Since smoot suggested Tampa Bay wanted Moss for a 4th (while we want a 3rd), i figured maybe we couuld package the two together. I think the 42nd overall pick might be a bit high, though. perhaps they'd do the deal for their 3rd and 4th round picks.

For two players, one a starting WR, one a promising, very young DE? I'd think Tampa might spring the #42 pick for that.

It is distressing about Jarmon. We got a very good young player and then changed the scheme, making him likely irrelevant. Maybe he'll make a better 3-4 LB than I project but I am dubious.

I think maybe my post wasn't clear. So to recap, Bucs want a receiver, Redskins want a 3rd round pick, Redskins willing to trade Moss for a 3rd, Bucs not interested in Moss for a 3rd. Redskins not really willing (not yet) to part with Moss for a 4th. Tampa possibly interested in Moss if the most they have to trade is a 4th. But they don't really want Moss. I think they'll exhaust all other options first.

There have been rumors of the Broncos and Bucs talking Brandon Marshall, but I think a more likely scenario (if Bradford is available) is someone like the Browns moving up to the Bucs spot and the Bucs dropping down and taking Dez Bryant

curses. so, who else can we ship Carter, Jarmon (and perhaps Moss) to?

Lots of options, though I'd imagine we're not trading Jarmon

In other news, Dolphins sign Richie Incognito and Bills sign Dwan Edwards

do you think Jarmon is really a good fit at OLB?

Cardinals about to sign Derek Anderson

Probably means Whitehurst will go to Seattle for a 4th...unless...

Eh, I don't know really.
