Also defensively can we not pick up players from the UFL? I mean Haslett could bring some players over that know his scheme or is there some rule that they can't be touched by the NFL?

I wouldn't be in much of a rush to pick anyone on D from the UFL. Most decent D players would be on NFL squads, practice squads, etc.

That said, we should avoid Arch like the plague. :D

Too bad Bobbie Williams is almost retirement age. That dude is a monster, on paper anyway.

i'd like to sign a vet kicker. carney has been kicked around the past couple of years but is consistent. a solid kicker is the difference of at least 2 more wins (think saints and dallas game) this year.

If Ryan Clark wants 26 Million or whatever it is....pass.

I would rather have Kemo over Williams.

Shanny will turn someone else into Mike Bell or even better into a Mike Anderson!

Well both kemo and jammal have acl tears, the difference is that kemo still isn't running on it and jammal is on schedule.

and why not go with the proven young back than the unknown draft pick which could go towards another OLineman rather than a questionable back

I don't really see much of a difference between the two. Williams is older, both are coming off bad injuries. Take your pick which is worse, ACL or Achilles.

Mike Bell is a proven back. He has proven that he isn't a full time starter. If they draft a guy, he could turn into a gem. They have 5 draft picks, are you suggesting all 5 go to the line?

This team's backfield needs to get younger sooner rather than later since CP is gone next year and possibly this year(The Betts and Rock cuts are proof to me that CP won't be around long).

We should set up a visit with Dwan Edwards! Former Ravens defensive End who is a big guy and can play the 3-4 end. If Haynesworth is indeed playing NT (should play him at DE and pick up a NT) then we are gonna need a big guy to play opposite Daniels and if haynesworth is playing DE, hes gonna need someone to rotate with. If he can pass a physical i say get this guy. He did have spinal fushion surgery so thats why im cautious.
