Thanks, GTripp.

Jags sign DE Aaron Kampan to undisclosed contract (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/huff-wires/20100307/fbn-jaguars-kampman/) CRedskinsRule 03-07-2010, 01:06 PM And Hicks. Nice reference GTripp. Really appreciate it. Mechanix544 03-07-2010, 01:11 PM yes, very nice. How about this. We do not sign any players over the age of 30 this offseason. CRedskinsRule 03-07-2010, 01:33 PM yes, very nice. How about this. We do not sign any players over the age of 30 this offseason. Ok, but I think a better one would be: We do not overpay any players over the age of 30 this off-season. After all you can get someone like Foote or a few others, who know the coach specifically, and can be a mentor, and also a good addition for a year or two while we focus on rebuilding the offense this season. Lotus 03-07-2010, 01:43 PM yes, very nice. How about this. We do not sign any players over the age of 30 this offseason. Too late for that already. CRedskins, as usual, is on the spot: better to sign 30+ folks as long as you don't overpay them. SBXVII 03-07-2010, 03:53 PM I'm not saying this will solve our problems but there are some players with decent size and not old either. CFL.ca - Official Site of the Canadian Football League (http://www.cfl.ca/roster/listProspect) Yeah we definitely need to look under every stone. SBXVII 03-07-2010, 04:15 PM Yeah we definitely need to look under every stone. I know the complaint about how if they were any good they wouldn't be in Canada but some players need experience or a few years to develope skills and size. but in a nutshell yes lets not leave any stone unturned. If there somewhat young and healthy bring them in for an evaluation. I actually would prefer a bunch of just out of college upstarts who will build a bond together in the trenches vs. 2 players and a bunch of 30 y/o's. I'd even settle for the preverbial penalty now and then that Rookies usually provide. 53Fan 03-07-2010, 04:16 PM Ok, but I think a better one would be: We do not overpay any players over the age of 30 this off-season. Sounds good to me. Thanks for the chart GTripp. Much appreciated! |
