SBXVII 03-04-2010, 10:17 PM Never mind I got it in the "First Cuts" thread. Betts Cartwright Smoot Griffin R.Thomas ARE Collins Mason E.Williams Skolnitsky GusFrerotte 03-04-2010, 10:17 PM No surprises here. Well, actually there were a couple of more guys that were close to being cut but...made the cut it seems. But this is what we talked about a couple of weeks ago. That there would be major changes to the current roster. Shanahan and Allen have no loyalties to anyone on the roster and they've never been afraid to make changes And there's more to come. Skins seem really intent on shipping Rocky and Campbell out ideally by this weekend (regardless of what they're saying). Lots of Browns rumors floating around. Some good, some not so good. Depending on your perspective I suppose. What are your sources on shipping JC out by this weekend? SBXVII 03-04-2010, 10:18 PM Randle El Todd Collins Marcus Mason Eddie Williams, a FB (not to be confused with Edwin Williams) I did make the mistake. E.Williams the FB got injured right and didn't play. Ruhskins 03-04-2010, 10:18 PM What are your sources on shipping JC out by this weekend? He'd have to kill you if he told you. Pocket$ $traight 03-04-2010, 10:20 PM So we get rid of our average QB for a mediocre QB (Anderson) or a QB with the situation where the jury is still out on him? Screw that, give me the pick, let's draft Bradford and get a vet QB in free agency if that's the case. Well Rogers is the best player in the trade, Anderson has accomplished a ton more than Campbell ever has and like you said, the jury is still out on Quinn. I would rather have Okung/Davis and either Quinn/Anderson then Bradford and a second round pick. SirClintonPortis 03-04-2010, 10:21 PM I wonder if SmootSmack and jsteelz from ES are in collaboration? GusFrerotte 03-04-2010, 10:21 PM Campbell not being here doesn't make Bradford a better pick. Okung is still the best choice if he's available. I agree Tripp. O linemen first and maybe even second. I have been looking at these QB draft sites. Most of these guys look to go in the 6th round with the exception of the "fabulous" ones and the kid from West Va. I f we do get a second first round for JC get Okung and Bradford/Clausen/McCoy or if Shanny really wants to rebuild the oline with youth use both for O linemen. I still think guys like Lefevour, Stull, Hall can be the next Ryan. Ruhskins 03-04-2010, 10:23 PM Well Rogers is the best player in the trade, Anderson has accomplished a ton more than Campbell ever has and like you said, the jury is still out on Quinn. I would rather have Okung/Davis and either Quinn/Anderson then Bradford and a second round pick. REALLY? Anderson??? You've GOTTA be fucking kidding me!!! Anderson sucks balls. Rogers was hurt during the latter part of the season, and the Browns actually won when he was hurt. And if we're going to go with an unproven QB, then let's draft one. Pocket$ $traight 03-04-2010, 10:24 PM Dude what are you smoking? Those guys are horrid. I know the Browns have their problems, but we are way better off using the second round pick to get another rook QB. This year is a banner crop for QBs. Get your franchise guy, then get another young guy as the 3rd stringer that might actually compete for the starting position. I mean if we do trade JC, that leaves us only with Brennan, and that experiment is a bit shaky. Well, I think that the trade scenario as a whole was pretty unrealistic so I said throw in one of their QBs. Banner Crop for QBs? Then why would we use the 4th pick on one when stud tackles are available and LT is absolutely our biggest need. SmootSmack 03-04-2010, 10:24 PM I don't get the move to trade Rocky. I could see him bulk up a bit and play ILB in a 3-4...obviously he's not an edge-rusher. I wonder if the drive to trade him means we're def getting Dansby? Also keep an eye on what we're able to do in terms of adding 2nd/3rd round picks and how far Brandon Spikes falls. He's falling and the Skins are watching that |
