Pretty sure he'll go for that considering how much he loved the franchise tag in Carolina.

Did i not get the memo of us going to the superbowl next year? What would a one year deal accomplish?

I think Dirtbag359's response was supposed to be sarcastic. After all, getting franchised is basically a 1-year deal.

It's alright, I think Waldskins response was more of a response to Redskin37 then it was to me.

At this point I wouldn't get too worked up over Peppers. We're not high on his list and he's not high on ours. If we did sign him, it would mean that other options fell through for both sides.

A 6'7 Power Forward in the NBA? Sorry but that's almost unheard of. Plus keep in mind he decided between being the number 2 pick in the NFL draft or possibly being a 2nd round pick int he NBA draft.

Did you see him play at UNC? His playing weight was around 275 and if you got in his way he would posterize you. Basketball was a hobby for him and he was a dominant force in the ACC.

Billy Packer said he was arguably the best two way athlete in the history of the NCAA.
